This is the last post of the serie about estimating the budget for your app development project, there are two parts before this and I recommend the lecture of them:

This part is related to timeline scheduling and the importance of prototyping to get higher probabilities of success in the functioning and market launching your app development project.
8. Define technology stack
A technology stack, or application stack, is a combination of software platforms (or a platform and additional components) that are used to create a complete solution.
A technology stack would be used as part of an application’s back-end infrastructure.
The back-end infrastructure includes database management systems, load balancers, firewalls, and other security and reliability components.
9. Determine scope, timelines, costs, risks, and deliverables
Every new app project has four main aspects: scope, timelines, costs, and deliverables.
The more complex an app is, the longer it will take to create and test, increasing therefore the expenses destinated for the project.
It’s also important to consider if any external factors could impact development (such as legal requirements).
These risks can often be mitigated by adding contingency funds to your estimate.
10. Create an application prototype (MVP)
After you’ve figured out what your app is going to do, it’s time to create a prototype.
This will help you understand how users will interact with your app and how effective your interface is.
Think of it as a very rough draft of your final product—your ultimate goal here is not beauty or elegance, but functionality.
To conclude, we strongly suggest estimating the budget for the project before starting the development process, doing so will save you hard headaches and in the worst case, you will avoid failure from starting your project.
In addition, you should never trust a development company that tries to convince you to start a development project without it -there are many of them for sure- because it is a free ticket failure town and you will be lost from the beginning.
